Maxwell claims that because the Main Event continues to grow each year, with this year’s expected number of entrants to be in the thousands, poker players are looking to enter the smaller events in the hopes of winning a World Series of Poker bracelet. If a player from DoylesRoom.com wins the $12,500 prize package he or she can put all of the money into buying into the Main Event or use it to buy into various smaller events. Either way it is completely up to them what they do with the money.
A weekly Super Satellite will be held by DoylesRoom.com every Sunday night at 9pm ET with a buy-in of $350 plus $24. These Super Satellites will award the winner or winners of the $12,500 prize packages. Players can also purchase step tickets, which are available at $1.10 plus $0.10 for the chance to win the $2,500 prize packages. There are five steps to the World Series of Poker Step series. It does not matter how much a player wins, the $12,500 or the $2,500, a VIP dinner will be held for the winners with Doyle Brunson.
