Caesar’s Palace Selects GES

GES is a leading provider of exhibits, events, and retail marketing services in the United States. The company announced recently that it has been selected by Harrah’s Entertainment as its preferred vendor for exhibitions and events at all of their Las Vegas resorts. The list of resorts includes Caesar’s Palace, Paris Las Vegas, Harrah’s Las Vegas, Flamingo Las Vegas, Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, Bally’s Las Vegas, Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, PH Towers by Westgate and Imperial Palace Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Meetings Vice President of Catering, Conventions, and Events, Don Ross, had the following to say about the announcement:

“Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah’s Entertainment has a long-standing relationship with GES, and we’ve experienced firsthand their dedication to outstanding service and the successful events their team has helped to create. We are confident in the ability of the GES team, and we are certain that our clients will be pleased with their services.”

GES is now responsible for taking care of almost every show and event to be hosted at all of the casinos listed above. Their services include exhibition planning and design, staging, material handling, producing signs and graphs, installation of exhibits, and furnishings. The flagship operation of GES is based out of Las Vegas, which makes this decision a smart one for Harrah’s Entertainment. Their facility sits on a 54 acre complex and has the ability to provide its clients with vinyl and mesh banners, window clings, floor graphics, and carpet logos among other services and products. John Jastrem, the President of GES, had the following to say about the announcement:

“It’s an honor to be selected by Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah’s Entertainment as their preferred vendor. Our talented team is dedicated to partnering with the Harrah’s team to execute the most meaningful and memorable experiences for attendees.”

In other related news, Las Vegas Meetings, owned by Harrah’s Entertainment, was named as the Business of the Year for 2009 in February. Vice President of Meeting Sales and Operations for the company released this statement:

“This is truly an honor. Five short years ago, Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah’s Entertainment wasn’t even a business, so to be recognized now in this way, to be mentioned in the same conversation as other honorees like Chris Meyer, Karen Gordon, Jen Cheung, Bill Hornbuckle, Rossi Ralenkotter, Freeman, Val Moon, and of course Jordan Clark and Don Ross from our team – companies and individuals that are legends in our industry and who I greatly admire and respect – is a privilege and an honor.”
